Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysts support Business and Digital Transformation analysis, planning and implementation. Key activities to achieve this include research, analysis, requirements capture, content development and workshop facilitation. This enables detailed understanding of the current situation and a rounded view of improvement options.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with UK public sector and private sector clients. You will be required to work independently, proactively and with versatility, responding to changing circumstances. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication, proposition shaping and team working skills will be critical.

You will support analysis with public sector clients by investigating customer centric propositions and services. This will involve:

• Capturing end user needs and insights

• Drafting business requirements and mapping these to current and future and business and technology landscapes

• Analysing approaches to inform and deliver solutions which meet the specified user needs.

• Identifying risks in potential solutions and proposing mitigation actions.

• Collaborating to help identify how the predicted user and financial benefit can be realised, and how channel shift will be measured.

 

Skills and Experience

• Effective in developing stakeholder relationships to support delivery of business outcomes.

• Alert to emerging issues which might impact project delivery.

• Proactively supports collaborative team working.

• Actively seeks and acts on feedback to evaluate and improve project delivery performance.

• Ability to anticipate and adapt to the effects of change.

• Experienced in analysing and designing customer centric digital and web services

• An ability to rationalise complex information; making it understandable to others.

• Experience of identifying system and structure improvements.

• Supporting the gathering and interpretation of evidence to assess the costs, benefits and risks of a wide range of delivery options.

• Previous exposure to business change, rationalisation and transformation.

• Awareness of cost and benefit tracking, enabling accurate outcome measurement.

• Familiarity with project approvals and assurance procedures.
