Accountabilities: To explore the latest technologies on network infrastructure & server platform and deliver high quality of IT service to parent companies and Swire Beverages in Greater China. Understanding business requirement, evaluate product & IT service in market, architecture design, implementation and on-going support. 

• Provide support in AD, Exchange, VMware, EMC storage, etc
• System capacity planning, monitoring
• Disaster recovery planning and support
• Vendor management on IT hardware equipment
• Monitor the SLA of the IT support team, Regular review meeting on IT service with user department representatives

 Management of IT infrastructure projects

• Assist Infrastructure Manager to implement projects based on IT infrastructure strategy
• Gather business requirement from stakeholders (plants users, application teams, etc.) for new projects
• Evaluate & recommend overall system design by utilizing cost-effective solutions (e.g. Cloud service)
• Implement and deliver the optimal services to users on predefined schedule plan

 Evaluation of new technologies

• Take initiative to explore the new infrastructure technologies in the market (e.g. Cloud service) and formulate the technology category
• Regularly review the current infrastructure and recommend roadmap of services migration and enhancement
• Coordinate with solution vendors to arrange PoC to find out the best design to improve the infrastructure efficiency
• Improve the operation efficiency by replacing the obsolete services with better product technologies

 Vendor Management

• Build good relationship with vendors/service providers to adopt the best solution to enhance our services performance
• Manage the vendors to work out the solution proposals to meet business requirement for management review
• Responsible for liaison with vendors to obtain the best offer for every project

IT Budget

• To meet the management’s objective, recommend IT budget (CAPEX & OPEX) in projects rollout for consideration
• Manage the projects to be completed within the budget plan

 Technology Sharing

• Coordinate with solutions and services providers to introduce the best solution services to the team
• Regular meeting with various IT functional teams to find out the areas for improvement by new solutions

 Infrastructure security support

• Work with security team to evaluate solutions to harden to security protection of our services
• Arrange demo sessions and meetings to introduce new security solutions

 IT Operations support

• Manage technical support team to deliver IT desktop support service to user in HK
• Workout the documents of infrastructure solution for operation support team
• Provide second level support when necessary, deliver timely support and make appropriate escalation when necessary

 Network Infrastructure support

• Manage the network projects include the Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, Load balancer, routing and Wifi related
• Provide 2nd level support and administer the network configuration setup of Greater China regions

 Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Professional qualification in CCNP / MCSE / CCSE / ITIL / PMP will be an advantage
• At least 7 years working experience in IT Infrastructure project and operations
• Solid experience to manage large-scale IT infrastructure project and data center operations, including cloud technology, mobility solution, server, SAN storage, virtualization, LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN, system monitoring, disaster recovery, etc. Experience in IT security is an advantage
• Hands on experience on wide infrastructure products, e.g. VMWare / Citrix / Linux / Microsoft platforms AD / DNS / Exchange / SQL, IBM / HP all series of server, IBM / EMC / HDS / HP SAN storage, Cisco / Checkpoint / F5 network device, HP BSM monitoring, etc.
• Experience in project implementation with cloud technology and information security on cloud service and mobility are preferred
• Experience to lead technical support team and VIP support service in large cooperate company
• English & Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• Open to regular business travel in Greater China areas for project implementation/support
• Good communication & presentation skill. Able to handle/solve the problem independently
