Job Description

This role will work within the Change and Technology space and will oversee internal projects and change capability, providing resources to initiatives, projects and programmes.

There is interaction with senior Corporate and Business Unit stakeholders and their organisations. This is a business delivery role and requires a person with experience of delivering complex, multi-jurisdiction, cross business unit projects.

 

Role:

  • Responsible for the successful completion of all assigned business projects
  • Manage projects in a matrix environment to ensure that all objectives and business benefits are realised
  • Effective resource management throughout the project lifecycle of both internal and external resources. In addition, the role requires effective supplier management, particularly where third party partners and vendors are key to successful project delivery.
  • Required to act as an advocate for Project Services and the services it provides, including the internal Change Management Toolkit, and to assist with continued development as required
  • Delivery experience of managing complex business projects/programmes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Credible with both business and corporate stakeholders
  • Experience in managing the people and cultural aspects associated with major business transformation projects
  • Experience of developing project communications plans and in providing appropriate communications, including status updates, for major company-wide projects tailored to various stakeholders
  • Experience of managing third party vendors and suppliers within a project environment
  • Track record of successful project delivery and business benefits realisation
  • Experience in leading technology implementation
  • Experience in digital transformation
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude with ability to manage and motivate teams to action
  • Strong influencing and persuading skills with senior stakeholders and those resistant to change
  • Collaborative and flexible approach to managing relationships with ability to build credibility and rapport, especially with the business organisations
