Job Description

Good project governance is essential to the success of any change initiative.  

Looking for a senior level consultants who balances hard project management techniques with excellent leadership, team building and stakeholder management.  

You will be working within client specific project delivery life-cycles traditional methods of PMI, PRINCE2 and MSP. Consultants must provide strong programme and project management support for all IT-enabled change initiatives, working with enterprise solutions (ERP, CRM, BI), legacy systems and the latest digital technologies.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with internal client teams and suppliers to manage the end to end delivery of innovative business improvement and change projects
  • Capturing requirements, producing and identifying delivery milestones and metrics
  • Liaison with technical and creative teams on estimation for project tasks
  • Creation and on-going management of the plan for project delivery
  • Securing resources required for project delivery
  • Documentation of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Liaison with technical and creative delivery teams on project deliverables
  • Communication of project progress to stakeholders, including budget reconciliation
  • Identifying risks to a project and proposing mitigating actions
  • Prioritisation of bugs and issues raised during testing
  • Coordination of release and implementation activities
  • Support business development team on new business opportunities with high level analysis and project planning

 

  Qualifications

  • Substantive relevant experience in delivering large-scale business transformation and improvement projects with a substantial technology-enabled change component
  • Experience managing a matrix of technical and creative delivery teams, as well as business and IT stakeholders within our clients’ organisations
  • You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and will have hands-on experience managing teams and projects with budgets in excess of £1m
  • Practical experience and knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project methodology and iterative delivery practices, in addition to traditional waterfall methods
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
