Our client, a MNC who is looking for a System Consultant (Oracle DBA, HPUX/Solaris/Linux, Data Protector) to join their growing team. 

Duties:

• Provide mainly Oracle DBA, HPUX/Solaris/Linux platforms technical support / consultancy / operations / management

• Responsible for day-to-day administrative operations and troubleshooting

• Provide 2nd to 3rd tier support and administration of Oracle (R10g or above)

• Lead database performance tuning activities and maintain performance metrics

•  Administration of Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM / RAC)

• Installation / Setup of Oracle Active Data Guard

• Develop procedures and manuals to enhance operational efficiency

• Prepare reports, technical documents, implementation proposals and user’s manual

• Carry out infrastructure projects if needed 

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related discipline

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience

• Experienced in Data Protector backup tools

• Experience in Windows / LINUX / UNIX system support is preferred

• Holders of Oracle certification is highly preferred (OCP)

• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
