Requirements :

Manage and control all product development and merchandising cross-functions with sourcing, production, technical, and quality of specific company accounts

• Work closely with designers and buying team in HQ to deliver the most suitable products in terms of fitting, costing and quality
• Source and negotiate with potential vendors / suppliers for best price, product development and production
• Responsible for fabric and material sourcing, sampling, costing and provide the most competitive price with quality products
• Work with other teams (technical and production) to solve any quality or technical problems to ensure on time delivery
• Bachelor Degree in Textile / Clothing or equivalent
• At least 8 years sourcing and merchandising experience in garment, with at least 3 years at managerial level
• Strong fashion sense and knowledge of fabric & material / trim sourcing, product development with good vendors network
• Extensive knowledge in fiber, weaving, dyeing and finishing, testing and inspection with strong fashion sense
• Solid experience in fashion fabric development, with knowledge in China fabric market a MUST
• Excellent factory management, problem prevention and solving skills
• You must be self-driven and confident with strong leadership skills
• Management of development stages and sourcing of factory base
• Track sample development and resolve any problems to ensure lead time is met
• Liaise with the Technical team to ensure quality and cost is met
• Relationship management with vendors to ensure production runs smoothly
• Highlight potential and current vendor issues with the QA team
• Supervise the Merchandising team
• Well-versed in computer applications Word  , Excel & Chinese Word Processing
• Manufacturing back ground is an advantage
