Summary of the Position

The Buyer in Healthcare is a key commercial role, supporting buying manager to lead all Asia buying across Healthcare categories from the region. Product development and supplier management.

Financial responsibilities:

• Driving year on year savings on Asia spends
• Overall retail profit and margin improvement for new products and  throughout the life cycle

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

1. Carry out and deliver category sourcing strategy , initiate and drive year on year growth on responsible area
2. Independently analyze business situation and propose on quality sourcing decision 
3. End to end project management ensuring project are delivered on time with best quality
4. Lead cross functional project team to deliver
5. Supplier development including manage JBP supplier
6. Work closely with Quality & Ethics team ensuring supplier compliance to brand protection at all times

Education and Qualifications

• University Graduate , Business major preferred

Job Experience

• 3 years of sourcing and product development experience for UK and US retail market
• Medical device sourcing and product development experience is preferred

Knowledge and Skills

• Medical Device development and regulation requirement for UK and US preferred
• Retailing and brands
• Manufacturing and product development
• Strong command of English language both written and verbal

Desirable Personal Attributes and Competencies

• Team player , Enthusiastic , Flexible, Reliable, Attention to detail and logical

Additional Requirements (Travel, etc.)

• Flexible working hours required. After office hour meeting with US required.
