Job Description

Purpose and Objective of Position

 

Assist in developing and implementing information technology initiatives that support the business strategic objective focusing on Analytics and Campaign Management. Provide an effective liaison between the CRM / Marketing Departments and the Information Technology Department, as well as external vendors providing IT related services.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading Business Analyst to oversee various systems projects on analytics and campaign management and to meet timely completion of specific project tasks.
  • Coordinates and actively participates in all stages of system development including research, design, programming, testing and implementation.
  • Actively pursues issue resolution, and communicates project status/issues to business stakeholders and operational management.
  • Acts as the key liaison across major functional areas, including business units, information technology and outside vendors.
  • Work closely with IT team and external vendors to build a comprehensive customer analytics tool and data model for users to get access to member and program data efficiently.
  • Create reports and analysis to measure program effectiveness, customer purchase behaviors and turn insightful findings into marketing initiatives.
  • Define and create a set of KPIs for campaigns, events and promotion and measure the responses of the marketing initiatives.
  • Create Dashboard for Senior Management to review program effectiveness and latest updates at a glance.
  • Manage data mining and extraction requests from Corporate, Divisional Client Services Teams and store teams.
  • Set up a clear and standardized workflow for data extraction requests.
  • Campaign management; target the right clientele at the right time using the right communication channel for various campaigns including automated member campaigns, targeted member campaigns, promotions and events.
  • Define clear KPI for each campaign and track campaign effectiveness and result.
  • Identify and assist in the development of training requirements for the delivery of all system projects to include "train the trainer" requirements and the necessary training materials.
  • Conduct end-user trainings i.e. train the trainers and refresher training.
  • Provide the necessary supporting documentation for the Business Operations areas to evaluate, prioritize and determine the cost effectiveness of information technology initiatives.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a quantitative degree
  • Min 6 years experience in Business Analytics fields
  • Retail product knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience in developing CRM related systems
  • Strong SQL Programming in multi-national working environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiar with CRM software applications and store systems
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and work product validation
  • Ability to set and achieve deadlines and objectives
  • Sound communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, having Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantageous
  • Able to work additional hours as needed
  • Business travel required
