Our client is a high profile and strong performing listed company. They are seeking for a high calibre media relations professional to join the team. 

This role will be reporting to the functional head and working closely with senior management and cross-departments. With the objective to position the company favourably to media and public at large and to support business objectives, you will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies as well as financial communications plans, such as press conferences, result announcements and M&A transactions. You will also be managing and building strong relationship with international/regional and local financial and business media as well as handling their enquiries.  

The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Communications / Journalism or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of experience in journalism, PR agency and/or in-house media relations function. Financial communications and/or investor relations experience is highly regarded. You are self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with hands-on approach and can perform under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin) is mandatory. Frequent travel to China is required.
