Job Description

*Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager role

Key Responsibilities

Assist and report to our Director of Marketing and Communications on the following day to day matters:

  • Assist in initiating, planning and implementing all marketing functions including: advertisement and media planning, joint direct promotional campaigns, event and campaign management and exhibition/road show planning & flow
  • Work closely with other members of the team in website outlook and support
  • Assist in identifying, developing and managing strong relationship with strategic business partner such as: Ad Agencies, Event Organizers, Luxury Brands and Magazine partners to promote and market our deliverables and Membership
  • Generate strategic ideas and proposals on building a strong market presence in the mainland and Greater China region through leveraging our partnerships in order to expand Membership base
  • Work closely with the video production team in planning and developing our deliverables in UPC’s  “Digital Library”
  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development team to develop effective marketing programs, communication collaterals and advertisement to support sale initiatives
  • Work closely with Luxury Service Providers to develop, promote and implement promotions, and events internally and/or externally in order to appeal to customers and deliver a unique and exciting experience
  • Assist in soliciting strategic collaborations, events, partnerships & sponsorships to enhance brand visibility
  • Assist in overall copywriting in presentations, publications etc….


Requirements

  • MUST have a minimum of 2 years or above working experience in the following departments/industries: Hospitality, Marketing, PR, Business Development, Communications
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in either of the following areas: Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality
  • MUST be excellent in spoken and written  English and Chinese, Proficient in Mandarin is required,  fluent in Japanese is preferred
  • MUST be a team player, positive mindset and self-starter
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Presentable outlook
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Possess strong communication and social skills
  • Able to work and perform in a fast paced environment
