Job Description

The Merchandising Services Assistant Manager is responsible for executing multiples tasks that will help Merchants and Planners from all Product Groups to optimize use of system and ensure data consistency. The Merchandising Services Assistant Manager acts as a troubleshooting expert and ensures excellence of operations.

The Merchandising Services Assistant Manager also assists the Manager of Merchandising Services identifying and standardizing best practices and tools for merchandising processes.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support standardization and industrialization ad-hoc projects with both Merchants and Planners from all Product Groups
  • Offer solution to improve Merchandising Services effectiveness and efficiency, and meet Service Level Agreement (performance are defined regarding quality, quantity and timing criteria)
  • Transfer information from brand’s document to DFS standardized assortment grids as communicated by the Merchants
  • Execute SKU create as communicated by the Merchants
  • Reconcile brand’s order confirmation with DFS orders
  • Execute vendor purchase order creation and maintenance as communicated by the Planners
  • Tracking purchase orders status
  • Execute SKU maintain as communicated by the Internal Client (Merchants & Planners)
  • Execute VST document creation as communicated by the Merchants
  • Manage Defective process with stores, vendors and merchants
  • Execute reverse logistics document creation as communicated by the Planners
  • Perform penny retail reports and communicate missing information to the merchants
  • Produce standardized reports for Internal Client (Merchants & Planners)
  • Extracting master data for Internal Client (Merchants & Planners) to perform data quality check & management
  • Roll in offline-OTB monthly

REQUIREMENT:

 

 

  • College or University Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Good at problem solving and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Team management experience
  • Previous merchandising and/or planning and/or shared center experience is preferred
  • Very detail-oriented, with high level of accuracy and ability to detect inconsistencies in data
