Job Responsibilities:

• Source and develop seasonal woven fabric for design and business need
• Monitor sample fabric ordering process, testing and inspection
• Negotiate with supplier for cost, agreement, quality and other production issues
• Research on new fabric development and fashion trend and prose to deign team for new concept
• Maintain and expand wide sourcing network
• Review and evaluate the performance of fabric mill and propose changes whenever necessary

Requirements:

• Degree in textile design or technology
• Minimum 10 years relevant working experience with 2 years at supervisory level
• Extensive knowledge in fiber, weaving, dyeing and finishing, testing and inspection with strong fashion sense
• Solid experience in fashion fabric development, with knowledge in China fabric market a MUST
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organization skill
• Good computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word and Chinese word processing
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
