Job description and responsibilities:

- pro-active product and factory sourcing in all kinds of toys

- liaise with colleagues in UK head office on product development in all toys categories

- familiar with factory costing on materials, components, packaging & different production technique. Capable to negotiate product cost with these knowledge

- negotiate product cost, trade term, payment term, MOQ, shipment split and stock holding at factories

- oversee factories performance & overall product/packaging quality

- maintain accurate data in system & monitor CPA progress to ensure product development milestones are on schedule and shipment on-time

- attend trade fairs, visit factories and participate in buying trip 

Job requirements:

- thorough understanding of product development cycle is a must

- product development & engineering skills are required 

- familiar with EU toys safety directive and requirement is an advantage

- ability to master a large amount of data in central filing, maintain its accuracy & share amongst teams is essential

- detailed, organized and pro-active working style is required

- excellent command of English/Mandarin/Cantonese

- travelling is required
