Job description and responsibilities:

- review factories existing quality and social compliance documentations and identify factory audit needs

- liaise with factory on completing factory audit questionnaire and schedule factory audit plan according to internal factory audit standard

- technical review & risk access sourced products and propose product safety & reliability improvement

- identify product safety testing requirements for ranged products & review test reports

- examine & sign off inspection samples, schedule inspection plan & liaise with third party inspectors and factories any ad hoc inspection issues

- examine & sign off production samples & ensure on-time readiness of product safety test report before shipment sign off

- safeguard on all QA related data files accuracy and maintain the data up-to-date

Job requirements:

- thorough understanding of EU product safety directives & requirements on all kinds of toys, arts & crafts, stationery and premium gifts is a must

- technical experiences gained in HOKLAS / UKAS laboratory, in French / Germany / UK toys manufacturer or in UK major toys retailer is a great advantage

- product engineering skill is required

- ability to master a large amount of data in central filing, maintain its accuracy & share amongst teams is essential

- detailed, organized and pro-active working style is required

- excellent command of English/Mandarin/Cantonese

- travelling is required
