Job Description

My client is a top tier world-known luxury fashion brand, they are seeking a head of retail to join their growing company, helping to drive sales and evolving business forward. You will have to report to the General Manager, liaise with both regional senior stakeholders and also the internal team to ensure the retail team is delivering the best quality of work possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and maximise profitability across all stores
  • Responsible for the day to day management of the Regional Managers and liaising with all support functions within the business to deliver operational excellence.
  • Ensure the delivery of presentation and commercial standards throughout all stores nationally.
  • Maintain excellent standards in all areas of operational activity and drive sales and profitability through the performance and development of Store Managers, whilst setting and managing store budgets.
  • Formulate and direct retail strategy.
  • Manage new store opening programme, from layout to staff recruitment.
  • Liaise with Finance Manager to produce workable rolling forecasts and Budgets.
  • Provide cost & sales analysis on all retail stock offering.
  • Maintain accurate cost and sales information.
  • To create an enjoyable customer experience which exceeds customary standards and service levels.
  • Ensuring seamless customer journey through training, developing and leading by example.
  • Maintain brand standards within presentation and service.
  • Identify and implement improved service practices and procedures.
  • Liaising with the Merchandising, Buying & Marketing departments to initiate and implement promotions and events across all stores
  • Liaise with Marketing and Visual Merchandising departments to create and implement promotional requirements
  • Other projects and responsibilities which arise on an ad-hoc basis

Requirements:

  •          5+ years work experience in similar role within retail industry
  •          Proven track record of managing large scale retail operation in Asia
  •          Excellent communication skills demonstrated with previous experience of managing relationships with senior regional executives
