Job Description

Our Client is a fast growing global 3PL looking for the TALENT to join energetic team

 

This position reports to the Regional Director.

 

  •  Account Management and Revenue Growth.

  • Operations Excellence and Services Integrity.

  • Inter-departmental interface and relationship management within and outside the Company

  • Establishment and maintenance of Profit & Loss statement, effective KPIs and performance benchmarks.

 

  • Collaboration with Product departments and peers to identify and drive execution of solution sets to ensure continuous and consistent enhancement of service and growth.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for revenue growth including strategy mapping, account penetration, client relations management and business improvement initiatives.
  • Manage overall client relationships to ensure excellent service during implementation, transition to operation and ongoing maintenance of the account.

  • Strategically partner with Product groups, Operations teams and Overseas offices to ensure continual, consistent service and growth.
  • Achieve annual revenue and profit goals.

  • Lead to resolve major complicated freight and logistical challenges with minimum or no cost impact to the Company.

  • Develop innovative and profitable solutions in working with Operations and Product groups within the organization.

  • Assist in multi modal product development efforts based on requirements of client.

  • Provide operational guidance and training on systems to direct and indirect reporting team

  • Maintain good vendor relationship management.

  • Team Management and People Development.

  • Take on adhoc projects as assigned by management.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree. Major course of study in logistics, transportation, international or business preferred.

 

  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of combined Operations and Project management including Sales experience in Freight Forwarding Industry with preferably 6 to 8 years in a regional role.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Warehouse management and Industry technology.

  • Strong business acumen, solid operations knowledge and good technical aptitude.

  • Ability to work independent of management supervision, self-reliant and resourceful

  • In-depth process expertise in relevant functional areas and hands-on knowledge in warehouse and freight management systems.

  • Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills and excellence in operations project management and planning skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances while delivering results.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in interacting with people at all organizational levels within and outside of the company.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation and client service skills.

  • Exposed to multi-culture experience and able to bridge communications across cultures.

  • Good command of spoken & written English, Cantonese and Chinese.

  • Good PC skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Visio.

  • Results oriented and a Team player.
