We are looking for an energetic, young logistics analyst to support the business growth of our designated Client in Asia, a leading International Multichannel Retailer. The incumbent will work closely and assist the Head of Asia Logistics of our Client to drive continuous improvement in their existing markets through developing best-in-class end-to-end supply chain solutions in Own Accounts and Hubs, also supporting development of best practice implementation in new and franchises markets.

Key Responsibilities

For Owned / JV accounts (HK, China & India) and Franchises business:

• Ensure adherence to key reporting dates (3-year plan, Operations plan & forecasts)
• Accomplishing weekly / monthly KPI packs includes both inbound & outbound logistics
• Update continuous improvement initiative trackers
• Familiar with IT systems (EPR, WMS, tracking systems) and analytical tools to generate analysis (including Productivity, Root Cause analysis and Store opening/closure/peak planning analysis), action items and business cases for management review
• Involvement in regular stock count audit
• Support peak or promotions
• Assist in process mapping, initiate and manage changes in logistics operations

For International Consolidation Hubs (Sri Lanka, Yantian & Malaysia):

• Support Hub managers to resolve day-to-day operation issues
• Verify information updated by hubs to ensure data integrity
• Approving hub invoices
• Consolidate lead times information from accounts for system updating and tracking in Editrack
• Compile regular reports, commentary and forecasts in accordance to key reporting dates

Event Management:

• Assist in organizing the Annual Asia Logistics Conference
• Occasional travel required on need basis

Expectations from the Role

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in business or logistics related disciplines preferred
• 3 years’ relevant experience in logistics industry with some exposure in retail, e-commerce, warehousing or international forwarding operations
• Experience in transport network design, warehouse design and/or process reengineering an definite advantage
• Self-starter, result-driven, highly motivated and can work effectively in matrix organization
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with peers at all levels across Asian countries
• Computer literacy, advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills a prerequisite
• Strong analytical skills and numerical sense for making sound suggestion from available information and analysis
• Pleasant, outgoing personality & well organized
• Proficient in both written and oral English & Conversational Putonghua
