Position Description

JMATEK has been a major player in the Evaporative Air Cooler and Portable Air Conditioner market worldwide. To keep pace with its rapid expension and growth, the company requires a Senior Accountant – Trade Finance and Compliance to manage India and China market.

Key responsibilities:

• Factory Finance coordinator, including administration of consumption tax, Net Landed Cost calculations
• Attend conference calls independently with our Indian partners and co-workers
• Contract review with factory and vendors on tools and
• Coordinate Semi Knocked Down (SKD) component trading and Finance
• Manage a small finance team in P.R. China and India and perform month-end closing
• Work with banks on treasury arrangements for facilitating vendor payments, and fund flows
• Lead internal audit on finance processes, including compliance OEM audit

Job Requirements:

• 5 year experience or above
• Candidates without Manufacturing experience need not apply, please highlight relevant experience accordingly in resume (India experience is desirable)
• Business travelling to China & India
• Factory Finance experience, including costing, like Net Landed Cost calculations
• Trade Finance, like various LC opening, factoring, and invoice-financing, etc treasury needs and Chinese factory
• Internal audit and stock custodian management experience
• Performing OEM audit and compliance experience
• Previous experience working with MNC is desirable
• Fluent speak and written in English/Cantonese/Mandarin

Office Location:

Located in Kwun Tong with frequent shuttle bus access to MTR station.
