Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and management of the Asian Accounting and Finance functions
• Report directly to CFO of the Group
• Local support partner to the Asian CEO on business controlling and expansion/improvement opportunities
• Manage the local accounting team in Hong Kong
• Support and control local book keeping organizations in Asian joint ventures and subsidiaries
• Provide timely and quality local Asian financial reports and analysis – to local management and Fenix Outdoor centrally
• Analyze local Asian operations and financial KPIs on a regular basis to assess performance
• Identify and monitor internal weaknesses and implement Fenix processes for budgeting
• Build positive work relationship with internal and external parties: Local Auditors, Lawyers, Government Agencies, Tax agents etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.  MBA is an added advantage
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience with proven track record and relevant IFRS knowledge
• Strong knowledge of regional accounting practices and regional working experience
• European/ US background
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Good communication skills in English
• 10% travelling to Asia (i.e. Korea, Taiwan and Japan) and two trips to Europe per year is required.
