Reporting to the General Manager of CT3, the incumbent manage the operations of the terminal. The incumbent will determine the objectives, plan and design the strategy of terminal operations, as well as oversees daily operations so as to achieve Company’s targets.

 Key responsibilities include but not limited to the followings:

• Oversee daily operations, work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations in line with Company’s direction and strategy
• Design and optimize operations structure with efficient control of manpower, equipment and overall resources in the most cost-effective way
• Plan and design a sustainable and long term strategy to provide service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Establish the budget and manage the costs of Operations Department
• Ensure safety and security policies and procedures are maintained and strictly comply with local ordinances and regulations
• Build and maintain strategic relationship with other terminals within the area for collaboration and coordination

Requirements:

• Degree of Operations Management/ Statistics/ Business or relevant discipline
• Minimum 15 years’ working experience in container industry
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in management position
• Valid certification in safety and possess valid driving license
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills
• Strong leadership, people management and coaching skills
• Strategic, innovative, analytical thinking, results-oriented and good business acumen
• Good knowledge of MS Office and numerically astute
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is also preferable
