Job Description

Job Title: Delivery Manager

Summary:

Responsible and accountable for the management, maintenance, reporting and delivery of the training plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the principle management point of contact and  entity manager for regional delivery employees, demand collation/validation, MI analytics and presentations, annual planning, validation, submissions, feedback on logistics coordination/attendance at forums, regional relationship with learning administration team/service delivery, evaluation of courses/delivery
  • To lead and manage project teams as designated and ensure that all activities in relation to the clients demand plan are achieved in line with the MSA/SLA within budget, to contract and be on schedule and provide the point of contact for demand plan enquiries
  • To ensure that the quality systems are complied with, maintained and developed following the GP Strategies quality procedures
  • Where appropriate, to ensure the effective development of project staff as prescribed within GP's performance management system. To ensure that identified staff training within the staff development plan is clearly linked to the business unit development plan. To ensure that all training is carefully evaluated and recorded within the appropriate documentation
  • To manage the appropriate staff development programme within the framework of IIP and within the agreed individual staff development plan
  • To ensure that financial awareness and appropriate reporting of the project is maintained in liaison with the senior management team responsible for managing costs within the project budget at all times
  • To participate in the staff development programme within the framework of IIP and within the agreed individual staff development plan

Person Specification:

Essential Requirements      

  • Graduation/Post graduation in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years training and consultancy experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Proven account management/project management skills
  • Knowledge of appropriate quality systems
  • Proven working knowledge of health and safety responsibilities                         
  • Knowledge and awareness of equal opportunities         
  • General administration and good IT skills
  • Proven teamwork experience
  • Proven effective communication skills

Desirable Requirements

  • 5 years of training sector experience
  • 5 years of training and development experience
  • Microsoft Office/other DTA
  • Knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese will be an added advantage
  • Supply chain market knowledge of learning & development industry
