Job Description

Job Duties
Office Management
- Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services.
Human Resources
- Daily management of HR policy and procedures
- Lead the mentorship program and appraisal system
- Plan external and internal training for the team
- Cultivate a positive working environment and team spirit – be supportive of team members, arrange exciting monthly team activities, solve issues and be positive
Accounting & Finance
- Manage the company’s accounts alongside external accountant and auditor
- Handle payroll, MPF and tax matters
- Prepare and manage client billing, quotations and service agreements
- Prepare and control operational budgets
- Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company
Best Practice
- Formulate and implement and/or improve processes and policies to support the agency goals
Others
- Oversee updates of company’s branding
- Support senior management to ensure smooth operations
- Liaise with vendor to maintain IT functions of the company
- Provide and maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment
- Support administration work of office in Shanghai (business trip not required)
- Conduct English-Chinese / Chinese-English translations
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related
- At least 5 years working experience in HR & Admin field with minimum 2 years’ management experience
- Start-up mind set appreciated – the team works in a fast paced environment although company is established for 7 years
- Experience working with Managing Director/CEO preferred
- Familiar with Hong Kong labour legislation and other related ordinances
- Knowledge of PRC business environment an advantage
- Proficient in both written and spoken English & Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software eg Peachtree, QuickBooks
- Resourceful, detail-minded, willing to learn, positive attitude
- Able to work under pressure, with good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work independently
