HKBCF was set up on 8 March 2005, as a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to mitigating the threat of breast cancer to the local community through education, support and research and advocacy.

Our missions are to:

- promote public awareness of breast cancer and the importance of breast health
- support breast cancer patients on their road to recovery
- advocate better breast cancer care in Hong Kong

We are now inviting a capable and caring team player to join us. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will play an active role in the Finance and Accounting team of the Foundation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts independently
• Prepare the monthly and annual closing of financial statement and analysis
• Perform cash flow management and general account duties
• Manage staff payroll, MPF and other compensation and benefits
• Prepare annual budget, and budget vs actual variance analysis
• Compile statistics and prepare reporting package to HKBCF funding bodies
• Coordinate with external auditor to complete annual audit
• Ensuring compliance with statutory accounting requirements
• Assist in other ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

• High Diploma / Associate Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
• Possess at least 1 year relevant working experience in Accounting,preferably with background of non-profit charitable organization.
• Practical knowledge and experience in Flex system is an advantage.
• Proficient in MSOffice, esp. Word & Excel, Chinese word processing
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and willing to learn
• Detailed-minded, well organized, responsible, independent and able to meet tight deadline
