Job Description

Responsibilities:

  •    Manage human resources functions including recruitment & selection, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee relations.
  •  Perform as a project manager in executing numerous human resources projects, e.g., HRIS project.
  • Assist in managing employee communications and team building programs and other HR programs to leverage employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency of HR practices across the group and subsidiary companies.
  • To develop and implement HR strategies and programs. Expected outcome includes JCR becoming one of the preferred employers in F&B to attract talent in order to building a high performing team and engaging workforce for driving business growth. Specific HR KPIs such as turnover rate, internal promotion and rotation rate, rating on staff engagement survey, etc.
  •  To provide strategic support across full spectrum of HR activities and provide timely and professional HR services to JCR and ensure the outputs are well complied and aligned with high efficiency.
  • To formulate, implement, review and update company policies and procedures regularly to ensure that they are in compliance with statutory requirements (such as Labor Ordinance, MPF Ordinance and Inland Revenue Ordinance, etc) and enhance the overall business efficiency & effectiveness.
  • To monitor and coordinate short and long term incentive programs and benefits programs
  • To coach and provide feedback and identify development opportunities in order to build effective team.
  • To develop and maintain a good and effective working relationship with strategic partners, such as Group departments, HK Government (particularly with Labor Department) recruitment agencies.
  • To provide advice and consultative support to ensure adequate staffing level, proper succession planning, effective performance management programs/ schemes for long term business development.
  • To lead, drive and involve in a variety of HR projects and initiatives (eg. engagement surveys, compensation and benefits reviews, policy development, career management programs)
  • To collect staff opinions from different occasions and channels and initiate staff wellness program so as to advocate work-life balance in the organization and balance employee satisfaction and organization interests.
  • To coach and provide advice to managers on people management and develop their people skills so as to improve operations efficiency & effectiveness and provide advice on enquiries on disciplinary/performance issues.  
  • To coordinate and implement Human Resources services including day-to-day management of resourcing and benefits functions.
  • To work closely with various supporting department (such as IT) in establishing or changing the system, policies and benefits as well as support accurate and on time payroll.

 

Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferably in Personnel or HR Management) with solid relevant work experience;
  • Min 7-10 years of progressive all-round HR and office administration (preferably) experience gained in multinational or sizeable companies;
  • Experience with managing HR IT systems, payroll and other project implementations (such as outsourcing and office automation systems) would be a big asset;
  • Strong HRM experience partnering with senior management on developing the overall structure and policy of a technology start-up during its next phase of expansion;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to foster and build relationships, engage and influence the diverse internal stakeholders; as well as to manage external service providers/ contractors;
  • Experienced with or exposure to the general office management and administration functions to ensure a safe and operational environment including but not limited to: filing system, asset management, general security, general provision and other procurement matters;
  • Computer and web-literate, proficient in MS Office Suite of products; and
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and working with a matrix structure.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential
