Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The incumbent will provide HR services and support, as well as policy and procedure administration to two Mercedes-Benz entities in HK. He/ she will be involved in project initiatives to support business improvement plans and other ad hoc assignments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide hands-on involvement and quality HR advisory services to support full spectrum of human resources functions mainly focus in HR administration, compensation & benefits, etc.
  • Assist in review of existing HR processes, policies and guidelines and implement initiatives that will drive performance and comply with the corporate requirement
  • Manage process improvement projects and feasibility study of automation to help streamline the operational flows and enhance efficiency
  • Administer and support full employee life cycle activities from hiring, on boarding, engagement and development to off boarding for designated Business Units
  • Keep abreast of any updates on market best practices, generate ideas and solutions for the team
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of employee C&B operations including monthly payroll, MPF, final payment, medical, insurance, tax returns etc.
  • Monitor and administer Expatriate Management, such as relocation arrangement and VISA application processing, etc.
  • Be a self-motivator, executor and team player with other departments to translate the HR strategies into operational realities
  • Handle ad hoc projects as required

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • 5 years’ relevant experience in HR generalist or related field preferably gained in sizeable and multinational organization
  • Familiar with full spectrum of HR areas
  • Well versed with Employment Ordinance and other employment-related legislations
  • Good organizational, analytical skills and able to work co-operatively with all levels of people with effective interpersonal skill and logical thinking
  • Strong sense of accountability with good analytical skills, flexible and detail-minded
  • Efficient, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and with a strong computer sense, experience in PeopleSoft and SQL is an advantage
  • Immediate available is a definite advantage
