Product Development shall implement the Group's strategy in line with its development objectives. It facilitates product innovation within the competitive landscape of the heavily regulated banking and securities industries. Innovate client solutions while complying with the complex regulatory standards of the day; forge integrated solutions across multi business lines.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Product Development Manager.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Initiate, drive and implement product innovation and product development projects
  • Propose the product strategy to fit in channel growth and help achieve company business objectives
  • Conduct internal and external analysis through collection of management information to derive the right product solution, and convey our product strategy and solutions to the key stakeholders
  • Commit to launch the product timely and with quality.
  • Contributes to the development of global business plans, advancing business strategy.
  • Provides strategic input by providing input to senior management on regional business and functional issues
  • Communicate a clear vision for the business that is aligned to the firm's vision, values and goals, and inspires and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer centred culture.
  • Manage the processes, infrastructure and resources needed to deliver agreed plans and targets, identifying and implementing improvements and collaborating with colleagues to maximise channel effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead and encourage constructive business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours.
  • Implementation and oversight of product development, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with various groups, internally and externally, to lead projects focused on enhancing the corporation’s innovation
  • Provide regular business updates/management reports
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group policy by adhering to all relevant processes and procedures.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Business related disciplines.
  • Type 4 & 9 Responsible Officer Preferred
  • Solid experience & sound knowledge in Asset Management Fund products
  • Development and implementation experience in product marketing
  • Strong business sense and analytical skills
  • Clear understanding of sales channels
  • Good communication, presentation and PC skills
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrates keen awareness of market trends and best practices, confident in stretching beyond comfort zone, incorporates multiple perspectives and broader picture in evaluating and solving problems.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the business products and services,
  • Make commercially sound judgment to advise the business accordingly
  • Self-starting rather than passively accepting, continuously focuses on providing quality products, services and results.
  • Complies with prevailing requirement and procedures, follows through initiatives with attention to detail to achieve set targets and standards.
