Responsibilities:

• Perform daily transaction settlements for equities market
• Ensure all settlement instructions are timely and efficiently executed
• Handle physical & CCASS stock settlement against the client’s deposit and withdrawal instructions
• Perform daily stock reconciliation and investigate any entitled holdings discrepancies and follow up outstanding issues
• Handle nominee services, corporate action activities, IPO and account opening
• Liaise with brokers in-house counterparties to follow up any settlement related issues and enquiries
• Provide administrative and clerical support, such as data input and document filing
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
• At least 3 years settlement experience in settlement operations
• Good knowledge of securities market with experience in settlement process and familiar with CCASS and DCASS operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Settlement Clerk
