Head of Industrial Commodities Desk/Head of Business Development – London

Responsibilities:

• Provide metals, bullion and commodities futures (LME, CME, ICE, SGX, TOCOM, HKEx, NYBOT, Liffe, spot bullion etc.) brokerage service to Far East (PRC mainly) corporate customers.
• Take, place and execute customer orders to trading platforms
• Monitor customers margin position and handle margin calls
• Monitor customers’ orders flow and escalate trading platforms technical issues to trade/IT support teams
• Provide customer services, market information and related support to customers
• Develop and maintain client relationship
• Follow up for client on-board and account open documents (KYC)
• Work closely with London head office to assist in the delivery of client solutions
• Attend conference and visit client when in necessary

Requirements:

• Degree holder with minimum 4 years related experience in metals and commodities Futures markets working in the front office
• Good communication skills (both written and spoken). Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
• Basic computer skills are essential
• SFC license holder of RA2
• Knowledge of, or experience in the FX and bullion market and a SFC RA3 license holder is a plus
• Attention to details
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and team player
• Able to travel when required
