Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and administrating Oracle database 10G and 11G
• Perform system analysis, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, capacity management, security operations, trouble-shooting and documentation of database system
• Maintain high system availability and ensure all database systems work properly
• Provide technical support to application developers
• Responsible for database backup strategy, system disaster recovery
• Ensure database system is secure

Requirements

• Minimum  2 years experience on Oracle database 10G, 11G and RAC administration
• Knowledge in Oracle database HA/DR solutions
• Knowledge in Non-SQL database will be an advantage
• Solid experience in database installation, backup & recovery, performance tuning and monitoring
• Solid experience in Oracle database operations in Linux environment
• Basic knowledge of Linux operation
• Holder of Oracle database certificates is highly preferable
• Can work independently, innovative, self-motivated and strong problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Immediate availability is an advantage
