Requirment:

• Master degree in Economices / Business or related disciplines with at least 3 years' relevant working experience (Candidates with lower qualifications and experience might be considered as "Assistant Economist");
• Strong understanding of the business and social environments in both Mainland China and Hong Kong covering various industries / areas expecially manufacturing;
• Proven track record of experience in research, policy analysis and report writing, preferably with focus on economic issues;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
• Highly self-motivated, a good team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under time and resource pressures;
• Good PC knowledge in MS office, PowerPoint and Chinese Inputting method.

Responsibility:

• To monitor and analyze the socio-economic developments, particularly those in Mainland China;
• To study and evaluate government policies and make recommendations on specific areas;
• To conduct survey and other regular or ad-hoc research projects;
• To writen articles, edit publications and make presentation on research findings and policy analyses.
