• 分析測試結果進行診斷，然後再討論可下的解決方案; 介紹和推薦和合適的助聽器;
• 指導客人如何使用和保養助聽器，提供示範和信息;
• 輔助聽力學家幫助聽障人士;
• 調校助聽器，使它們的功能更適合人士需要; 檢查助聽器的狀態，使維修和更換有缺陷的部件;
• 教導客人聽覺復康智識;
• 接受持續教育和閱讀相關專業刊物，學習最新的聽力學知識和技術。

資格

• 中六或以上，基本生物學或科學智識
• 銷售或健康相關的知識和經驗者優先，
• 良好的溝通和人際交往能力
• 流利中文（廣東話或普通話）和英語能力

The responsibilities of a hearing consultant include:

• Interview patients to learn their symptoms and medical histories;
• Conduct screenings and tests to determine the severity and type of hearing impairment;
• Analyze test findings to make diagnoses, then discuss possible solutions with patients;
• Introduce and recommend appropriate hearing aids;
• Instruct patients in how to use and maintain the hearing aids, providing demonstrations and information;
• Assist audiologists with nonsurgical procedures designed to treat hearing disorders;
• Modify hearing devices that have already been placed in patients’ ears, to make them function or fit better;
• Make repairs and replace defective parts;
• Teach patients aural rehabilitation techniques;
• Receive continuing education and read professional publications to stay up-to-date on medical knowledge and techniques.

Qualification

1. Secondary 6 or above, with passing grade in English and Biology
2. Sales or health related knowledge and experience preferred, but not required
3. Excellent communication and people skills
4. Good commands of Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English
