Job Description:

• Participate in the preparation and organisation of the site (ordering equipment/material, setting up the site, etc.)
• Responsible for a team of up to 40-50 people
• Works on the putting together of teams and the technical choices (management of internal transfers)
• Helps in choosing technical options and in defining the organisation in terms of health and safety and approves means of accident prevention
• Supervise the work of the local or expatriate Foreman on site, place under his responsibility.
• Takes delivery of, checks the quality and quantity of plant and materials and checks their use
• Helps in risk identification, analysis and control.
• Supervises. Leads and organises the work of a site team: deadlines, efficiency and quality of production, safety…
• Draws up the schedule for the part of the site under his responsibility.
• Defines the organisation of the site supervisory staff and sets objectives for quality and safety
• Transmits the safety, scheduling and quality objectives and ensures their follow-up
• Ensures the execution of integrated sub-contracted work or that which is necessary for the structure
• Liaises in all areas between the site and the site engineers
• Details non-standard needs of the site
• Considers the constraints of other parties on site
• Participates with the project team in financial control and proposes corrective actions for any variance
• Collaborates on the fine tuning of procedures for the Health and Safety plan, sees that the instruction are applied and guarantees that security measures are respected
• Ensures that measures related to QSE obligations are applied 

Technical Skills :

• Can supervise or proceed with the setting out of the site using axes given by the surveyor
• Can draw up the diagrams and the bills of quantities needed for the executions of the structures
• Knows how to define needs regarding personnel, tools and plant to ensure individual and collective protection
• Can interpret and adapt the execution schedule
• Knows the materials, equipment and standard techniques for the structure of the site

Background & Experience :

• Must be methodical, organised, meticulous, have common sense 
• Must have good knowledge of site techniques and a good head for figures
• 10 years of experience or more
• Long-term experience in foundations is a must
• A previous experience in Cutter Soil Mixing is a plus
• Good English speaking skills
