We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Design Manager to work with our internal Marketing Team on branding, print and web collateral, website content, special projects, events and more.  

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design and brand of The Wave and executive it on different channels.
• Execute the brand experience we’ve developed in our physical spaces into both online and offline channels to potential and existing customers to understand our community
• Innovate and collaborate new brand concepts to take The Wave brand to the next level
• Manage and mentor an in-house design team.
• Create digital marketing (online channel) collateral – web pages, email newsletters, display ads and more
• Create printed marketing (offline channel) collateral – from brochures to OOH advertising, plus premiums creation
• Art Direction in photoshoot as well as marketing campaigns.
• Photo and videoshoot skills is required.
• Interpret raw information from different colleagues to attractive visual representations such as infographics and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or above in Graphic Design or related disciplines:
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in agency or in house design team.
• Experience with managing/mentoring other junior designers
• Candidates with similar industry experience is preferred
• Experience in overseas market and expatriate market in Hong Kong
• Hard working, self-motivated, have attention to details and willingness to learn
• Creative  with  well-developed  design  sense  and  design  skills  as  well  as  comprehensive design knowledge
• Proficient in major applications, e.g. Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Flash CC, Dreamweaver CC, Premiere CC
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy and campaign is highly preferred.
• Strong Communication skills in English and Chinese
• Candidates with Chinese copy writing and movie editing knowledge will be an advantage
