Job Description

The role of the Customer Operations Specialist is to be the key contact within the Hong Kong hub office and proactively managing regional questions and concerns in regards to account needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of orders are completed on time and done within customer’s compliance
  • Proactively stay in contact with key internal and external personnel ensuring all issues are promptly followed up and questions are answered
  • Work closely with corporate production, sales, logistics, and credit departments to ensure a smooth flow of orders and other activity including credit returns
  • Communicate clearly and openly to the internal team any issues emanating from the regional sales offices and distributors
  • Answer incoming telephone calls from customers  and other internal departments
  • Reviews e-mail on a regular basis and replies daily with accurate information and updates
  • Initiates and coordinates all activities processing APAC purchased product through the order management process ensuring deadlines are met to achieve required delivery dates
  • Review incoming order forms for completeness and all information is accurate prior to releasing the order through the order management process
  • Works directly with internal departments to secure ship dates for all products
  • Maintains order base by reviewing and updating orders for assigned accounts on an on-going basis
  • Reviews daily pending and open order reports and takes appropriate action to ensure orders are processed timely to meet customers requested delivery date
  • Assists customers with pricing, credits, invoices, short shipment claims and defective claims
  • Investigates initial requests for returned items, negotiates with customer to keep items and corrects the situation as needed while adhering to the returns and cancellation policies; completes appropriate RA paperwork and submit to Credit Department
  • Enters APAC orders into the SAP as necessary

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Strong computer skills MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • SAP skill is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills, anticipates potential difficulties, and proactively sets out to solve problems before they become crisis’
  • Demonstrates strong follow-up, ownership, and accountability
  • Enthusiastic positive & open-minded person who embraces the lifestyle fashion industry and works with a sense of urgency and persistence

Education:

Bachelors Degree required - Business or Logistics degree preferred.
