Job Description

The incumbent is expected to incorporate into the Strategy team of global Retail Business Division. The incumbent will be responsible to support the Head of Strategy for building Retail Business strategy (in co-operation with respective stakeholders) and and lead strategy development for certain transformation programs . Also, the incumbent needs to ensure that strategy does translate into strategic transformative actions and ultimately in business growth through regular monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse market evolution and identify growth drivers, build strategic insights from information
  • Analyse major competitor events and strategy evolution,
  • Define organic & external growth strategy for Retail Business (Business Models/channels, offer)
  • Define specific marketing strategies for Retail Business as a part of overall Retail Business Strateg
  • y
  • Deliver investment priorities for offer road map and business models
  • Analyze innovation trends and lead innovation strategy with Lines of Businesses with long term view
  • Cascade Partner strategy in Retail Business: Biz model strategy, Digitization, info systems
  • Lead M&A files for the division,
  • Contribute to Retail strategy committee,
  • Able to transform ideas into strategic programs where relevant
  • Analyze information/data and covert into actionable insight
  • Contribute to strategic monitoring of programs by being in-touch with the deployment actions
  • Able to lead strategy workshops with various stakeholders (channels / offer)
  • Able to understand the key technology disruptions and link back to the offer strategy development

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and/or sales development experience
  • Having worked in Strategy would be an added advantage
  • Excellent command in English 
  • Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent influencing skills, able to Inspire others and get work job done through others
  •  Passionate and Ambitious : looks at building a career and passion to drive strategic programs
  • Good understanding of the Business :
    -Business experience, understand various type of business propositions and understand how businesses operate in general, capability to learn new methods and technologies
    -Capability to understand various business culture
    -Very strong customer focus
    -Excellent understanding of marketing principles and methodologies
  • Good Strategic thinking skills:
    -Able to think strategically (with at least 3-5 years horizon) and able to transform strategic thinking into business initiatives that deliver tangible business outcomes
    -Excellent analytical ability
    -Ability to think and look for creative solutions
    -In touch with the ‘out-side’ world
