You are expected to deliver on your promises and get the job done, but you're free to organise your daily routine to accommodate your schedule with our flexi-time structure. On a 9am-6pm day, we have a +/-1 hr flexi-time to best suit yourself and we rarely have late nights or weekends.

What we do and what you will be doing at PMD..

In Hong Kong, we look after engineering. Our lab in HK has a range of specialist testing machines to verify and validate the components and motors. We assemble and build customised precision sub-assemblies and mechanisms for high value, low volume customers.

Your typical day may include:

- High precision soldering, assembly and testing of miniature products such as motors, leads and connectors

- Set up, configuration, training and tear down of assembly jobs. 

- Processing QC inspection and testing tasks using test fixtures and electronics; including visual inspection to spot problems such as broken wires, incorrect marking, mixed lot and other details

- Arranging, handling and packing goods securely for storage and dispatch

- Identifying and escalating potential process improvements to the testing, inspection and assembly tasks and tools

What we're looking for..

For your qualifications, you need to have;

- Excellent practical skills for handling, processing very small, delicate precision components,

- Consistent, tidy and dependable approach to completing tasks,

- We prefer candidates with good technical understanding and a minimum of 1-year work experience, preferably in a lab / manufacturing environment

- Fluency in English is essential to work alongside our engineers in HK and overseas

- Solid fundamental computer skills as it's essential to everything we communicate

- Hong Kong citizen/resident or other immigration status with no restrictions for work in HK

Employment details and benefits..

- Full time, permanent, 5 day working week (Monday - Friday)

- Initial probationary period of 3 months

- 9:00am ~ 6:00pm day with 1 hr lunch

- Based in Shatin, Hong Kong 

- 12 days paid holiday, plus 17 days HK public holidays
