The company is creating the leading digital financial services marketplace in Emerging Asia by leveraging its proprietary technology and data science, paired with its strategic partners’ assets, to create an efficient, formal and fair financial infrastructure.
Oriente’s co-founders include: Geoffrey Prentice – co-founder of Skype and Atomico; Hubert Tai – founding CTO & COO of LU.com; CTO of DangDang.com; initial principal engineer at eBay; Lawrence Chu – Founder of BlackPine private equity.
Oriente has 1,600+ employees across offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City.
