HK Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (hereinafter called the "THE REGISTRY") was established in 2007. It is a charitable institution which relies on the support of the general public.

The objective of THE REGISTRY is to advance and to standardize the clinical care of the high risk hereditary breast and ovarian cancer patients and their families in particular of the younger pre-menopausal age group, by formulating preventive and screening measures through data collection, research, education, training and supportive care service in Hong Kong.
