Job Description
Position Overview:
With overall responsibility for executing and leading Kroll’s marketing & PR efforts across North Asia, the role will involve working with Managing Directors and practice group leaders in Hong Kong to develop and execute marketing & PR plans, co-ordinate and support thought leadership publications and various marketing initiatives in the Hong Kong, China and Japan offices.
The role requires a high level of organisational ability, creative thinking, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to working with internal client groups. Candidates must have an ability to think strategically, be commercially-focussed, and have the proven ability to build relationships with senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing, PR and business development programs that support business in North Asia
- Work with regional teams to tailor global marketing campaigns for North Asia markets
- Develop media relationships as well as handling all press inquiries, pitching of suitable press interviews, briefing spokespeople and following up
- Raise brand awareness through various channels, including but not limited to client events, sponsorships, social media, etc.
- Work with the business to develop intellectual capital and thought leadership
- Work with the internal design team in the U.S. to manage the production of corporate materials, from design to print, including factsheets, brochures and newsletters.
- Maintain the integrity of the Kroll brand in all collateral and presentation materials
- Provide business development support to MDs and AMDs across North Asia, including preparing sales tools and case studies at the local level
- Identification of business opportunities through business/legal publications and follow through to set up introductory meetings or assist MDs and AMDs with following up on opportunities
- Assist senior management in creating presentations for external events/conferences
- Negotiate contracts and terms with printers/external vendors
- Manage and maintain the marketing and case studies databases
- Work with marketing colleagues based in Singapore and other overseas offices
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with minimum of 6-8 years’ marketing experience
- B2B marketing experience is essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential. Knowledge of simplified Chinese is an advantage
- Knowledge of Salesforce and InDesign would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills
- Pro-active, self-motivated and able to work independently at both the operational and strategic levels
- Demonstrates commitment to quality and continuous improvement

- Uncompromising accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to convey ideas accurately and clearly
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when interacting with internal and external clients
