Job Duties:

• Ability to resolve all aspects of problems from sourcing, product development, price negotiation, sampling, production till shipment in efficient and effective manner that implementing the merchandising strategies
• Benchmarking and understand market trends closely and react accordingly
• Execute different product development methods to maximize business opportunities through in-depth understanding of headquarter requirements
• Build & maintain effective and good business partnership with vendors and act as a bridge to headquarter
• Monitor vendors performance, develop & initiate corrective actions when required
• Execute sourcing strategies and initiatives
• Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams within a matrix organizational structure
• Capable to manage ad hoc and multiple projects simultaneously
• Lead a team to perform daily operation ensuring the quality and delivery performance as requirements

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in textile & clothing, or related
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Knit & Sweater
• Working experience in sizable buying office or trading company is a definite advantage
• Experience in off-shore production exposure is preferable
• Fully confidence in resolving complex issues and challenging situations
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Agile and flexible with ability to manage through rapid change
• Self-motivator to drive results with proven business and financial acumen
• Travelling is required
• Strong leadership, coaching and organizing skill, energetic, positive attitude and workload management
• Excellent command of verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is essential
• Proficiency in computer software of Microsoft office
