Responsibilities:

• Review feature requirement and design specifications, develop detail testing strategy and test plans
• Setup testing environment and test preparation. Execute manual and automated test suites
• Report progress and discrepancies discovered, follow up with related parties and compose test report
• Review test plans, provide suggestions and updates for improving the overall testing coverage and efficiency
• Provide new features’ knowledge transfer and training to internal staffs
• Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including testing tools, process improvements, and test automation
• Implement and maintain test scripts / shell scripts / testing tools for automation purpose

  Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
• With minimum 4 years of software quality assurance experience
• Strong knowledge in software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodology
• Experience in team management is an asset
• Programming skill and experience in Java; scripting skill and knowledge on batch file and/or Unix shell scripts
• Solid knowledge on Windows. Knowledge on Linux, Mac OS platforms and other business applications such as MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Lotus/Domino will be an advantage
• Leadership skill and good team player
• Fast learner, logical thinking and pay attention to details
• Good communication and reporting skill in English
• Able to handle multitasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in using and/or developing software test automation tools
• Candidates with more software quality assurance and team management experience will be considered for assistant manager position
