SARDA is in the process of reviewing its IT/IS Strategy and re-developing its Client Information System and other information systems. We now invite application for the post of IT Manager initially for the Redevelopment of Client Information System Project (RCIS)for overseeing and coordinating with vendors in supporting this Project and the corporateIT/IS function.

The initial employment period will commence from end-November 2016 for not less than ten months with a view to further extension subject to further corporate IT/IS funding. The monthlysalary is HK$54,230 with our other corporate terms regarding leave and MPF.

The man-requirements are:

• Degree holder or above in Computer Sciences/Information Technology or related discipline;

• Preferably with 6 years or more post-qualification experience in information technology and application development including at least 3 years’ experience in systems using mobile, internet/intranet, cloud computing, big data, digital communication and Open-sourced software;

• Experience in the provision of test data for functional, technical and user acceptance of IS;

• Experience in IS Project management and System development methodology;

• Good communication skills (in written English and Chinese) for internal coordination and interface with external vendors;

• Proven experience in web-based architectures, deployment scenarios and database technologies;

• Knowledge of industry IT/IS standards and Government/corporate procedures;

• Responsible, self-motivated, disciplined, independent IT/IS professional able to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
