Job objective:

Contribute to the vision and mission of FoE HK by planning and implementing CSR projects &  programmes.

Main responsibilities of the post:

• Reports to the team head or supervisor, plan and implement CSR projects and programs under FoE HK;
• Organizes reviews & studies on priority CSR and environmental sustainability issues;
• Facilitates public debate and sharing involving academics, practitioners, politicians & government representatives via different events including CSR related seminars, film shows, workshops to determine workable CSR solutions for HK;
• Disseminates key CSR advocacy messages, operational guidance and personal practice information to stakeholders in industries, institutions and communities;
• Prepares CSR material for publicity via media briefing, conferences & release, articles for conventional & social media using innovative social marketing tools;
• Contributes towards FoE HK’s central database of supporters & promotion network in changing CSR knowledge, attitude and practice via information, education and communication;
• Delivers CSR programmes and collaborative initiatives;
• Assists in planning, developing and executing CSR Training Initiatives, Projects and Programmes;
• Explores different CSR training means for enhancing training effectiveness;
• Develops and consolidate business case studies on the global trend on Green Economy, particularly divestment on heavy polluted industries and investment on sustainable and circular economy;
• Disseminates and collaborates with corporate banking industry reacting to global environmental concerns and adopting policies and guidelines that are socially responsible integrating social and environmental considerations

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Environment, CSR/Sustainability or equivalent subjects;
• Minimum 5 - 8 years relevant CSR working and fundraising project experience;
• Personal integrity with value of fairness and justice;
• Be self-starter but also a team player, open minded, analytical, self-disciplined, motivated, and willing to learn;
• Good planning and implementing capability; action oriented, result driven, and target focused;
• Good interpersonal, communications, and problem solving skills;
• Organized and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Ability to form networks & lobby with various concerned parties and stakeholders including academia, green groups, communities, and related industry for the CSR initiatives;
• Experience in CSR project planning / development / administration; preparation of funding proposal and solicitation of funding or related matters will be of an advantage;
• Qualified CSR Trainer with proven track record;
• Knowledge and experience in financial planning, green investment or sustainable finance;
• Proven track record of implementing and exposure in financing, bonds and investment strategy planning;
• Association with professional organization/strategic working group/networking with financing & investment professionals and economists involved in Green Finance.
• Good writing skills in Chinese and English.
