Job Description
This job contributes to company success through assisting to director to develop systematic managements, documents execution, build up project team, arrange working schedule, set targets and milestones for team members.
Job Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Windows Décor
- Review window order booklet and render all network windows for precise window kit ordering for all schemes and communicating the order to Regional and HQ team
- Initiate Regional conference calls with VM and Contractors to review technical booklets for each scheme.
- Plan and execute window installation schedule with regional VM’s for all stores
- Challenge the quality of installation by Regional VM’s and provide alternative solutions
- Maintain collection of competitive window photos
Communication / Guideline
- Develop strong communication and working relationship with HQ creative team
- Communicate Key VM window initiatives to Regional VM network in collaboration with VM Director
- Provide artistic direction, support and solutions to regional teams
- Steamline and consolidate information across all product categories to ensure clear comprehension and application of VM window rotation guidelines
- Request and compile window photos from each store to review with Regional VM team on quality and execution, send photos and feedback to HQ team after completion of each scheme
Special Events & Store Initiatives
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Director on creative visual aspects of special events, store openings, and other store initiatives
- Work with Regional VM’s and Store Managers on visual aspects of special events and other store initiatives
Budget Management & Process
- Control, update, monitor and manage VM window budget (finance / region / HQ)
- Evaluate, negotiate and challenge all VM vendor partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- At least 6 years retail visual merchandising / window installation experience in a multi-store format preferred
- Strong knowledge and skill of Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Power Point, Word and Excel
- Very organized, with keen attention-to-detail
- Capacity to have a critical approach
- Has a sense of urgency and is able to reprioritize efficiently
- Good communication skills (both oral and written)
- Digital photography required
