You will station in Sydney of Australia to manage system design interface of a railway project. You will liaise with internal and external parties of various disciplines, including in-house design teams, external operator, operations representatives and interface design teams in systems analysis, validation and verification. You will also develop systems / product specifications, provide technical support to interfacing parties and devise solutions for issues related to hardware, software and testing to ensure seamless migration and integration between existing operating railway and new station site. You will also establish a  management system to ensure the traceability and compliance of requirements.
 
You should have a Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in the design, installation and commissioning of various control systems of large-scale multi-disciplinary projects. Experience in operating systems migration and construction of control systems / SCADA systems in railway projects, PLC programming, communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, XML) is an advantage.  Open-mindedness, pro-activeness and partnering skills are essential.  Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred.
 
Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
