You will lead and manage a team of IT professionals to provide support to the IT infrastructure (e.g. servers and databases running the IS/IT systems). You will support daily operations including incident resolution, root cause analysis, change implementation, capacity planning, technology refreshment and patch management. You will also design and build the IT infrastructure for IS/IT Projects and ensure its compliance with all related policies / standards and business requirements. 
 
You should have a Degree in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 5 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 2 years should be at supervisory level. Experience in leading a medium-sized team, project management, databases design, troubleshooting and tuning as well as deriving related standards and policies is required. Hands-on experience in the following servers and databases is preferred:-

• Microsoft Windows Servers 2012, HP UNIX 11.x or above, Oracle Solaris 11.x or above, IBM AIX 6.1;
• VMware Enterprise v5.5 or above;
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above, Oracle DB v11g, IBM DB2 v9.x or above.

 
Proficiency in technical writing and user communication in both English and Chinese is essential. Possession of Certified Professional of IT (CPIT) is an advantage.
 
Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered.
 
Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
