You will carry out maintenance, installation and testing for radio or telecommunications network related systems in the operating railway to ensure that works are completed safely, cost-effectively, timely and up to the specified standards on quality and reliability. You will work with contractors to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of associated equipment in a safe and quality conscious manner. You will assist in functional checking, testing and commissioning to ensure that the asset performance conforms to the specifications or requirements. You will also provide technical assistance in software and hardware maintenance. Shift duties and working under adverse weather and emergency situations are required. Reporting and working location is subject to operational requirements. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills with salary adjustment via the Skills Progression Scheme.

You should have a Certificate / Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in radio and telecommunications related systems. Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license class 1 and 2, and experience in supervising contractors’ site work are advantages.
