You will provide immediate and effective responses to incident recovery for signalling and telecom, permanent way and power distribution systems along the operating railway. You will carry out routine maintenance, conduct fault findings and lead a team of technical staff to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure that all Integrated Management System standards are maintained. You will also conduct installation and testing for related systems to ensure that works are completed safely, cost-effectively, timely and up to specified standards on quality and reliability. You will perform driving duties for maintenance assignments. Shift duties and working under adverse weather and emergency situations are required.  Reporting and working location is subject to operational requirements. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills with salary adjustment via the Skills Progression Scheme.

You should have a Certificate in Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years’ post-apprenticeship work experience. Knowledge of computer, electronic and relay logic trouble shooting, experience in supervising contractors’ site work and possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license class 1 and 2 are advantages.
