Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison officer for the public at the Facility and the Regional Collection Centres
• Assist in the design and administration of the Environmental Education Centre at the Facility
• Plan and host events, such as Facility tours, workshops, as well as educational programmes to positively influence public behavior on WEEE reuse and recycling
• Collaborate with the PR team to foster relations with local media and to co-ordinate arrangements for media events
• Participate in events to communicate messages regarding the project
• Handle inquiries and complaints from local communities

Requirements

• Strong passion for waste recycling
• Minimum 5-year experience in public relations, communications or marketing
• Excellent communication skill with fluency in English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
• Energetic self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Location: EcoPark, Tuen Mun (Shuttle Bus pick-up: Hung Hom Station & V City)

ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Ltd. (ALBA IWS) is a joint venture company which was established between the recycling specialist ALBA Group from Germany and local solid waste management service provider Integrated Waste Solutions Group Holdings Limited. (IWS).

The Hong Kong SAR Government contracted with ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (HK) Ltd. (ALBA IWS) to design and build an integrated waste management system, including collection arrangements and the construction of the WEEE · PARK, for processing of electrical and electronic waste (including refrigerators, TVs, computers, washing machines and air conditioners) into secondary raw materials while controlling the handling of hazardous materials.
