Qualifications

1)    Degree / diploma / certificate or above, in aviation management preferable

2)   At least five (5) years’ working experience in aircraft interior cleaning or ramp services, with relevant ramp handling supervision experience preferred

3)    Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent Mandarin an advantage

4)   Mature in nature, good communication and interpersonal skills, good attitude while handling with customers

5)    Good problem solving and leadership skills to lead numerous cleaning staff

6)  Good quality, safety and airworthiness mindset with the ability to drive changes and achieve continuous business improvement

7)     Good Attendance and Punctuality at work

8)     Proactive, customer focused and business minded

9)     Driving license of class 1, 2, 4, 5, 18 or 19 an advantage

10)  Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Ramp Services Engineer, directly reporting to the Operations Controllers (OC), is responsible for:-

a)      Aircraft Interior/Exterior Cleaning, Dressing, Water/Toilet Servicing, Carpet Cleaning

• Checking and ensuring effectiveness of the operations of aircraft interior/exterior cleaning, potable water and toilet servicing, and other relevant services conducted by the subcontractor consistently
• Acting as the prime focal point for interfacing and team building with the subcontractor
• Liaising with the subcontractor to ensure strict compliance with the customers’ requirements
• Closely monitoring the sub-contractor’s performance by routine operations review meeting, monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system, and providing on-going guidance
• Monitoring the subcontractor to ensure the accuracy and on-time submission of billing documents and related records
• Carrying out regular audit and monitoring the service quality performed by the subcontractor
• Carrying out regular audit and ensuring cleaning staff conduct the services in accordance with individual airlines cleaning specifications/manuals by identified tooling/equipment
• Leading and managing new non-technical ramp/cabin services projects
• Assisting Commercial Services department to develop relevant non-technical businesses
• Having meetings with Airlines representatives and handling the customer complaints
• Having monthly performance meeting with the subcontractor to review regularly the manpower deployment efficiency in accordance with existing and new customer demand
• Ensuring Job Completion Forms (JCF) and related paperwork are properly completed by the subcontractor

b)      Others

• Elaborating and addressing the company policies/requirements to frontlines staff consistently
• Leading and monitoring new projects assigned by his/her superiors
• Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Operations Controller or his/her superiors
